I hold a Master of Science Degree in Literacy Education. After teaching in the elementary grades, I became an Adjunct Instructor in both the Undergraduate and Graduate programs in the Literacy Department at Cortland College, which has now been accredited by the American Association for Quality Educator Preparation (AAQEP) for its comprehensive and innovative teacher preparation program.
Next came 16 years with global education publishers Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and McGraw Hill as a reading and math consultant and teacher trainer. In those roles, I have created, presented, and trained on-site and online programs for reading and math to students, teachers, conferences, and colleges.
